Sunday, October 12th, 11:30am -
Due to racer complaints that our wireless internet system might cause interference with remote control frequencies we decided to cut off our internet access for updating this website from the lake on Friday evening.    Testing done in advance of this regatta indicated that no ill effects would occur but our racers satisfaction means more to us than updating this website and rightfully so.     The Pirate cam which runs on a different system has remained in operation.

As of this morning I've switched over to using Woodlawn club member Randy Rimmer's  trusty wireless card to make written updates from the lake.   This will allow us to provide timely updates on our activities but photo's will have to wait till Monday to be posted.

Quote from AMYA President Pete Maxson at the 2nd Annual Alamo Classic Victoria Regatta: "First time I've been in Texas and it is nice!  I'm very very impressed and this venue is unbelievable!  If we could take a picture of this and put it in the dictionary of what a venue should look like, this is it."
