Hey I heard through Hobie Forum that the reason Ray(Capt Jack) couldn't go to New Orleans is because he and his son Joshua was cleaning up at 19 boat Hobie Regatta on their Hobie 16. Joshua's says there are no hackers in that fleet. How about some photos on the Homepage of other racing Pirates representing the great Pirates of Woodlawn. Really we only need photos of Joshua, as he's the up and coming star Pirate that will take over when his old grey haired hacker dad is over and done with......lol....What am I talking about, I keep reading through this great "Hacker Forum" that he's already there!!!! What fun it was down in Slidell this past weekend for the 2008 Region 5 Championship Regatta!!!!! Definately worth the trip!!!! Dear Judge Judy, it is my esteemed opinion that these Victoria Yahoos are suffering from a sort of Oedipus complex. They see Woodlawn's Alamo Classic as the awesome Daddy of all Victoria Regatta's wedding with the Victoria Nationals, the mother of all regatta's, which they love. Their intense jealousy has apparently lead to Psychosis, a mental state often described as involving hallucinations, delusional beliefs, personality changes, disorganized thinking and a general loss of contact with reality. Unusual or bizarre behavior as well as difficulty with social interaction should be expected from these psychotic yahoos. On the other hand, their public school education may simply have failed them in the reading/comprehension category.

Well the Region 5 regatta is over. From what I heard the wind was up for Sunday and the big air skippers made their move. Budman moved right up the ranks with some really good races Sunday. Chris Macaluso also made a good charge. Chris was just to far back after Saturday to grab third from my "FORMER" mid fleet hacker buddy CJ. From the sounds of it this was a very good regatta. Well run with Hew being the RD and Al did a great job cooking for Saturday. So I am hoping that next year we can all boost the numbers a little bit at what should be a great annual event.

Can we get off this basketball track, and get back to what is important here? The Region 5 regatta is this weekend and there are several Pirates out on their own trying hard to keep their reputation intact. Is this even possible with Ray not there? I just wonder what happened to the emails that said "Wear this shirt Friday, this one Saturday, and of course this one to dinner......". Hopefully this was communicated between those going. I was not actually at the OD regatta, but looking at the scores it appears Ray S. gave up once he realized he would not beat his father. I also really want to know if those are truely DNF or were they DNS? Either way if looks bad for the Pirate leader. When the going got tough, he went to the club house? Now as someone suggested Ray M should be moved up to the gold fleet. Could we see a Ray reversal coming there? Not to mention that five out of the six in the silver fleet did better in total score than Ray, John, and Terry. Maybe we we are seeing the start of something here, and in a little while we will see a Red Beard/ Gentleman Pirate tuning tip sheet come out for the OD's. Will this top dog status carry over to the other classes?
