- "Dutch" Dinner at Veronica's Nachito was a
wonderfully pleasant experience. Easy to get to, inexpensive and
sweet watress', what more could we have asked for. This years
Fri-Night Dinner was full of discussion about the 07 Nats, lessons
learned and suggestions for making the 2008 Nat's being held here at
beautiful Woodlawn lake the greatest spectacular of the age!

Friday, October 5th,
4:15pm -
17 sailors registered so far and approximately 30
registered for tonight's dinner at Veronica's.
Heavy duty practice going on now as can be see via
the Pirate cam. Its fun watching different
folks trying to use the camera, gyrating wildly at
first and then settling down to watch the action on
the water.
|
Friday, October 5th,
2:45pm -
5 folks registered by 2:45pm and practice sailing
is occurring on the barge. The forecast calls
for Friday, Sat and Sunday to have 5 to 10 mph winds
out of the SE which is perfect for Victoria's on
Woodlawn. Interesting Story: Tom Kern
from New Jersey was picked up at the airport this
morning by Woodlawn Sailing Clubs official Limo and
driver. See photo below.
